Course Leader
Laura Kurapkaite is a certified therapist specializing in integrative psychotherapy and psychosynthesis, as well as a certified yoga teacher and mindfulness coach. She holds a master’s degree in medical science and has several years of experience working within the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries, before founding her company Remindful.
After living in Åre for 3.5 years, Laura has recently moved back to Stockholm. Laura brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work.
Having a high level of empathy and a strong sense of responsibility for others previously led her into a helper role, where she gradually lost connection with her own needs. Persistent burn out and emotional overload eventually became clear signals that something needed to change, both professionally and personally.
Through in-depth training in counselling, psychosynthesis, mindfulness, and body-based approaches, Laura has developed a way of working where empathy can coexist with clarity, healthy boundaries, and self-respect. In her work, she prioritizes creating a calm, safe, and present space where each individual is invited to meet themselves at their own pace, without pressure to perform, adapt, or be a certain way.
